The OCSMP Model Builder – Fundamental exam evaluates the knowledge and abilities needed to create a fundamental SysML model of a system. The assessment encompasses model concepts and organization, initial requirement capture and management, structural and behavioral modeling, parametric models, allocation relationships, and the application of stereotypes. By applying the skills acquired at this level alongside familiarity with an appropriate SysML modeling tool, a holder of the OCSMP Model Builder – Fundamental Certification should be able to contribute effectively to modeling tasks carried out by a Systems Engineering team utilizing a model-based systems engineering approach with SysML.  This certification serves as a prerequisite for the program's two advanced levels, while itself requiring the OCSMP Model User Certification as its foundational prerequisite. 

This examination (along with others in the OCSMP series) assesses your capability to apply the listed knowledge and skills within the context of a system model. During your preparation, move beyond individual diagrams to understand how the aspects modeled in one diagram can influence or affect aspects of the system represented in other diagram types. 

In this instructor-led, live training in Brasilia (online or onsite), participants will learn how to utilize SysML within Enterprise Architect (EA) to perform system requirements analysis and modeling.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be capable of:

The workshop focuses on problem analysis, system design, and documentation using UML and Sparx Systems' Enterprise Architect. During the training, participants will explore the tool's advanced capabilities (such as MDA, profiles, and XMI) and learn best practices that significantly simplify and accelerate the modeling process.
