Module 1 – Utilizing AIS for Functional Purposes in R/3 (2h)
- A review of R/3 processes and data tables pertinent to auditing.
- Capturing functional evidence using standard SAP GUI transactions.
Module 2 – Process-Centric Access Management (2h)
- Designing roles and managing access via PFCG and SU01.
- Using SU53 and SUIM for rapid issue diagnosis.
- Developing RACI matrices per process and addressing practical SoD concerns.
Session 2 (4h)
Module 3 – FI/CO with an Emphasis on Controls (2h)
- Configuring OB52, tolerance limits, and accounting authorizations.
- Approving journal entries and generating evidence through standard workflows.
- Ensuring traceability of modifications to accounting master data and bank accounts.
Module 4 – MM/SD with an Emphasis on Controls (2h)
- MM: Implementing purchase release strategies, managing price changes, and conditions.
- SD: Managing credit limits, pricing structures, and discount conditions.
- Gathering evidence via change documents, logs, and system reports.
Session 3 (4h)
Module 5 – Logs and Operational Evidence (3h)
- Applying SM20 (identifying actions, users, and timestamps) in functional scenarios.
- Using SCU3 to track changes in master data (vendors, customers, materials, and conditions).
- Analyzing transaction execution patterns via STAD/ST03N.
- Exporting data (ALV/CSV/PDF) and assembling supporting annexes.
Module 6 – Quality Assurance and Testing (1h)
- Designing test cases with clear acceptance criteria and minimal evidence requirements.
Session 4 (4h)
Module 7 – Practical Process Laboratory (3h)
- Mini-project: Executing the purchase and sales cycle, including exception scenarios.
- Collecting evidence and compiling a complete audit dossier.
Module 8 – Conclusion and Transition to Operations (1h)
- Creating operational checklists and schedules for periodic controls.
- Reviewing best practices for audits and regulatory adherence.
